Mykonos Port Bus

Bus Fare is one of the simplest and cheapest ways to get to know the island of Mykonos. The regular bus service of KTEL offers the most direct and most economical way to visit many of its areas, albeit, oftentimes, at the sacrifice of comfort and with extra hassle. Moreover, for the summer nightly escapades, visitors can rely on KTEL, since during the peak period there is public transport to the busiest destinations until 04:00 am. There are three starting points of KTEL in three different hubs of the city:

Starting point 1 in the square of Agios Loukas – Fabrikas, in the south of Chora, with destinations Platys Gialos, Psarrou, Ornos, Ai Giannis, ‘Paradise’ (Kalamopodi) and Paraga.
Starting point 2 in the square behind the O.T.E. building, at the entrance of the city from the port, with destinations Ano Mera, Kalafatis and Elia to the east.
Starting point 3 in the area next to the pier in the old port, with destinations the new Port of Tourlos and Agios Stefanos, a little north of the city.

What’s more, the old port (Chora) is connected with the new port (Tourlou) by sea buses, which make races every half hour. These will carry your luggage and offer access for those with movement impairments. The ticket costs € 2 and the boarding / disembarking points are in Neo port (Tourlos bridge) and in Marina Tourlou (Mathiou tavern), as well as the Dilianon pier.
